Grenada overview

Grenada is known as the 'spice isle', a third of the world's nutmeg is grown here. The capital St George's is home to spice markets, a great place to wander around and gain an insight into the real way of life in the Caribbean. St George's is said to be the prettiest capital in the Caribbean. Grenada is a bit off the beaten track. It's a very tranquil laid back island, with beautiful beaches and a stunning mountainous interior. Much of the Grenada's interior is quite unspoilt, the most spectacular area of tropical forest is the Grand Etang National Park, home to all manner of flora and fauna, including rare tropical plants and monkeys.
