Makarska is a delightful old town, sitting in the middle of a pretty horseshoe shaped bay against a spectacular backdrop of the impressive Biokovo mountains.
There is a delightful palm fringed promenade with a selection of fashionable cafes, bars and boutiques overlooking the pretty harbour. The town is vibrant with a bustling and cosmopolitan atmosphere, particularly in the summer months.
