Taking Silversea’s award-winning concept of all-suite luxury to the next level, these two sister ships – Silver Shadow and Silver Whisper – are slightly larger, yet retain the familiarity and intimacy of Silversea’s two earlier ships. Aboard the Silver Whisper cruise ship, savour a convivial cosmopolitan ambience and many special amenities usually found only on larger ships, including boutique shopping; a wellness spa with beauty salon, fitness centre and sauna; full-scale productions in a multi-tiered show lounge; an Internet Café and WiFi service from stem to stern.

Aboard the Silver Whisper cruise ship, 2011 arrives in the majestic Chilean fjords, setting the tone for a year of spectacular experiences in South America, the Caribbean and Northern Europe. Fulfilling the requests of Silversea’s valued guests, itineraries include three nights in St Petersburg, Norwegian fjord cruising, and fall foliage season in Canada and New England. The year concludes as it begins for the Silver Whisper, with voyages in the Caribbean and South America.


In 2012 Silver Whisper visits Brazil then explores South Africa and the fantastic Indian Ocean landscapes – east to the marvels of the South China Sea, west to the storied Arabian Sea and Egypt. Spring and summer reveal Europe at its best before arriving in Canada for autumn’s vibrant fall foliage. Silver Whisper’s globetrotting pace slows with soothing Caribbean sailings through year’s end.
