The name Duck Tours is actually drawn from the vehicles themselves, which is an important part of British history as they are the amphibious DUKWs used to take the troops ashore for the D-Day landings. Making full use of these mighty vehicles, this is no ordinary sightseeing tour, as not only do you get a live guided tour of the City of Westminster by road, you also get to take a trip along the river, without ever leaving the comfort of your seat. Nothing compares to the thrill of literally driving from the road straight into the Thames. The vehicles have been totally rebuilt to meet the stringent safety regulations set by the road and river authorities. Each vehicle seats 30 with a public address system and safety equipment.
