Lake Bled overview

Lake Bled is probably one of the most beautiful lake and mountain resorts in Europe. Bled is situated at the edge of the Triglav National Park and is very popular with everyone looking for a relaxed resort in a spectacular setting. The emerald green lake is the perfect setting for swimming, fishing, rowing etc. A very popular trip is to row over to the 9th century church on a tiny island in the middle of the lake. Also, perched high above the town is the medieval castle of Bled. There are many pleasant hotels, some with soothing spas and health centres, ideal after a busy day walking!
