Portoroz overview

Portoroz or the 'Port of Roses' is Slovenia's most vibrant seaside resort. A very picturesque resort, with lovely parks, Portoroz is set on a pleasant stretch of the Adriatic coast. There is a definite French and Italian influence to the town and it is possible to visit Venice for the day thanks to the hydrofoil service. Portoroz has historically been known as a health and spa resort and it's still possible to visit the town's health spa. Many of the hotels in Portoroz have amazing health and fitness spas as well.
