Kings Camp

Kings Camp offers the perfect combination of adventure travel and resort relaxation. Although its hardly a ‘camp’ – eleven, large, thatched chalets have been furnished in a classically colonial theme; Victorian furniture, intricate rugs, canopied beds and swaying curtains attached to floor-to-ceiling windows, with personal terraces complete with hammocks, just metres from the animal-rich Timbavati bush. Guests enjoy morning and afternoon open vehicle, game drives with knowledgeable rangers and in between times can relax in the pool, in the library or browse around the curio shop. Alternatively there’s a boutique gym and a range of treatments to be enjoyed at the spa. Breakfast and lunch are served in the dining room, while dinner may be enjoyed in the boma beneath the starry African sky, accompanied by the sounds of a crackling log fire, or on the privacy of your terrace.
