Hoi An overview

Hoi An once known as Faifo, is a small city on the coast of the South China Sea, towards the southern end of Vietnam. Once a major international port in the 16th and 17th century, the foreign influences are discernable to this day. The heart of the city is the old town full of winding lanes and Chinese-styled shop houses, which are particularly atmospheric in the evening as the sun goes down. The tailors here can be recommended - get measured up today and pick them up tomorrow!
